The first version is laid out as a square grid for square drills. The color quantities are still useful when adapting to round drills.
Why does the material count include ten percent extra?
Extra drills cover spills, static loss, imperfect pieces, and small supplier count differences.
Are DMC drill colors identical across sellers?
Not always. The numbering is common, but resin formula, dye lot, coating, and finish can vary by supplier.
What width should I use for a custom canvas?
Choose the number of drills across your intended canvas. More drills preserve detail but increase both finished size and placement time.
