The short version

PixelSkein processes your photo inside your browser. The pattern maker does not send your source image or generated pattern to PixelSkein, and you do not need an account to use it.

Photos and generated patterns

Your selected image stays on your device while the page is open. Color matching, resizing, confetti cleanup, preview rendering, and PNG creation happen locally in your browser.

PixelSkein does not store the photo or pattern. Reloading or closing the page clears the current working session.

Information the app does not request

• No account, name, or email address.
• No payment information.
• No access to files other than the image you choose.
• No advertising or analytics cookies in the current product.

Basic hosting data

When the public site is hosted, the hosting provider may automatically process limited request information such as an IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp, and security logs. This data is used to deliver and protect the site, not to inspect your photos.

Third-party services

The image-to-pattern conversion does not depend on a third-party image-processing service. If analytics, advertising, accounts, or cloud storage are added later, this policy will be updated before those features are enabled.

Children’s privacy

PixelSkein does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The current tool does not request personal information from any user.

Changes and questions

Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. An operator contact address will be added here before public launch.
